One thing about eBay that lots of people don't know is that you can have multiple user id's. Which means you can have over one eBay account. Here is why I feel it is vital to have over user id. When you are selling on eBay with a definite id, you can focus it to a specific niche. You can keep it to the same products you use on your net site. So back yourself up, & get an eBay id together with your name & credit card, & then get your partner to register with a different credit card. I would also recommend that a different computer be used . Another reason it is lovely to have another id is this, eBay can fundamentally suspend your auction account & not tell you why you were suspended (User Agreement, Section 9). They are going to not only suspend the account that you are using, but every account that has the same credit card knowledge on it.This way you are protected & if eBay does suspend account, you can still use the other meanwhile. eBay is lovely about working with you about getting your account back. They take some time to e-mail you back. This does come out of experience for me. I had a schedule that was launching a definite product & I didn't cease the schedule in time, & it listed the items again that eBay had warned me about. I cannot exactly keep in mind why they suspended my account, I think it was the wording regarding shipping & handling.
But they were willing to work things out with me, & I got my account re-instated quickly. But when you are waiting, don't try to register a new account in your name, because the technique won't let you.
